The Year 2s went on an action packed trip to Warwick Castle to conclude their learning for the topic, 'Towers, Tunnels and Turrets'. The weather was glorious which meant that we could see for miles once we reached the top of the tower.
Afterwards we were treated to a 'Bowman' show in which the children learnt all about archery in the Middle Ages. We ate our lunch whilst watching the amazing 'Falconer's Quest' display and then cooled off in the afternoon as we took a tour of the castle rooms. The day involved lots of walking so there were many tired children on the bus back home to school.
